Prof.Dr. Yaman Bölük. Yaman Boluk is a Professor holding the Nanofibre Chair in the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering at the University of Alberta. He received his B.Sc. from Middle East Technical University, Türkiye, and Ph.D. from Ecole Polytechnique, University of Montreal in Chemical Engineering and trained as a polymer rheologist. His work has been on various flow-related industrial problems in aerospace products, petrochemicals, plastics, pulp and paper, agriculture, construction, and wastewater treatment. His current research is on the flow of viscoelastic hydrogels and nanoparticles used in tissue engineering, 3D printing, anti-icing fluids, and construction materials. He was the inventor with 7 US patents and more than 80 publications in refereed journals. Preparation of take-home experiments and learning materials to promote science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) skills among high school and first-year university students are his current free time interests.

Dr. Tamer Şıkoğlu Dr. Tamer Şıkoğlu started working at Pfizer Pharmaceutical Company after receiving his Ph.D degree from Boğaziçi University Computer Engineering in 1984. In 1988, he started working at Garanti Bank Automation Department and in 1990, he served as Garanti Bank Automation and Technical Services Manager. He transferred to Toprakbak in 1995 and started working as Information Technologies Retail Banking Applications Manager at Toprakbank. During these periods, he taught as a part-time lecturer at Boğaziçi University, Programming Department and MIS department. Following the closure of Toprakbank in 2002, he started working as the Retail Banking Software Manager at Oyak Technology. In the following years, he worked as the Chief Auditor responsible for Bank Information Technologies Audits at Ernst & Young and between 2010 and 2018, he worked at Ray Sigorta A.Ş. He also worked as Information Security Manager.
